The Hull Badminton Club

Hull Badminton Club is a competitive but friendly badminton club that welcomes players young and old of all levels. The club is one of many in the area affiliated to the Hull and District Badminton League in which we have several mixed, mens and ladies teams, ranging from the top divisions down. We are also affiliated to Badminton England.

Senior Club nights are held on Mondays and Thurdays between 7pm and 10:30pm, with the Junior Club running 5:30pm until 7pm (Thursdays only). We are lucky enough to have several qualified Badminton England coaches of varying levels running the Junior Club, which provides a great opportunity for children to get involved and improve their skills. Throughout the summer (off season) we are running our summer club on a Monday night only from 7:30pm onwards. It gives us the chance to work off the BBQs and beer! Its very informal, everyone is welcome.

We play in the only purpose built badminton hall in the region, the Hull and East Riding Sports Centre. It is arguably one of the best badminton facilities in the area, with a recently improved bar and changing facilities. The Centre is home to three badminton clubs, and there is also Cricket, Squash, Football and Running club.
